How People Change

What does it take for lasting change to take root in your life? If you've ever tried, failed, and wondered what you could do differently, you need to attend How People Change. You will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience.

How People Change targets the root of a person: the heart. When our core desires and motivations change, only then will behavior follow. You don't need to be stuck anymore. In Christ, you are a new creation. The old has gone and the new has come. This class will be led by DeAnna Sheets, MA, LPC-S. The workbook is $17.  Scholarships are available.

WEEKLY

Celebrate Recovery

We meet every Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at our Ministry Center located at 1620 4th Avenue. Celebrate Recovery encourages fellowship and celebrates Christ’s healing power in the lives of people as they work their way along the road to recovery. Lives are changed as experiences, strengths, and hopes are shared with one another. In addition, individuals become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems.  CR’s purpose is to help anyone who has a hurt, habit, or hang-up.  For more information, please visit our Canyon CR website.
