Preschool Ministry
Our goal at FBC Canyon is to show the love of God to preschoolers to help them start building a solid foundation on which to grow their faith. We want to partner with parents in beginning the process of teaching preschoolers about God, His love for us, and the ultimate sacrifice made for us through Jesus. We want to create a loving and fun environment so that not only are the preschoolers comfortable, but their parents feel confident their children are being well-cared for while in our classrooms.
Where to go?
For easy access to the preschool area, please use the main entrance on the west side of the church. We will be there to meet you at the welcome desk upon your arrival.
Nursery care is provided for infants through one year olds in our infant room. Our nursery care providers are very experienced in caring for infants and forms are available to fill out for specific instructions and contact information.
We also provide Sunday School classes based on age and developmental stages:

Extended Teaching Care (ETC) is provided for infants through 2 year olds.
Preschool Powerhouse is for preschoolers 3-5 years old. Powerhouse is a fun and interactive time for preschoolers to explore the lesson taught in Sunday School through songs, crafts and activities.
Cubbies is for preschoolers 3-5 years old (3 by September 1st). AWANA Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son, and His word. Cubbies look forward each week to a lesson time, crafts/activities, puppets, game time, handbook time, and snacks.
